Driving Instructions

From Jaye St. in Porterville (the first stoplight east of Hwy 65) go 12.5 miles west on Hwy 190 toward Springville. You will pass the lake, cross the Tule River, pass the River Island development and golf course, and the ranger station. Just past the ranger station (on the left) look for Globe Drive on the right. Turn right on Globe Drive, cross the Tule River, then turn left at the first opportunity (Pleasant Oak Dr.). Go up a steep hill, keeping to the right, and bear right at the top onto Tule Oak Drive. The address is 33251 Tule Oak Drive, the second house on the right. There is a sign saying Coma Via Observatory on the fence by the driveway.
