Driving Instructions

From Porterville go west on Hwy 190 through Springville and turn left at the Big White Barn onto Balch Park Road. Go about 5.1 miles north on Balch Park Road. You will pass Bear Creek Road on your right and then come to Blue Oak Dr on your left. Turn left and wind up the road (paved at first, then dirt) until you come to a fork in the road. The right fork leads to Nick and Meifong's home at 41308 Blue Oak Dr. Their proposed observatory site is up the hill behind the house.
